Overview:The Democratic National Committee is seeking an Engineering Manager to support the Biden campaign and Democrats up and down the ballot. We are looking for folks with a variety of backgrounds and experience, and are dedicated to building a team that looks like America.Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with members of the analytics team, external stakeholders, vendors, and partner organizations to prioritize, brainstorm, schedule, and implement engineering work.
  • Manage a small team of analytics engineers focused on similar problems.
  • Actively develop and maintain core data pipelines, syncs, and workflows that support the States HQ team and state data teams across the battleground.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand needs and communicate clear deliverables and deadlines across teams.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience managing or taking a senior role in projects applying data, engineering, or advanced analytics tools in a business, campaign, or non-profit setting.
  • 3+ years using SQL, Python, and other scripting languages professionally.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience, both in writing and verbally.
Additional Useful Skills & Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with NGPVAN, ActionNetwork, Mobilize, Scale to Win, and other political tech tools.
  • A desire to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and implement creative solutions to unique problems.
The salary for this position is $100,000, on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
