This position will contribute to Oklahoma Farm Bureau’s three state contracts, which each contain a respective scope of work: “Rural Accelerator”, “State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI)”, and “ARPA”. This position will especially be a liaison to eastern Oklahomans.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
SSBCI Duties:
- Design Curriculum, Establish Host Locations, Develop and Roll Out Promotional Strategies, Manage Client Intake, Lead Courses in Eastern Oklahoma
- Work with Eastern Oklahoma Eligible Beneficiaries Who Request 1-on-1 Coaching
- Attend 50% of Oklahoma Farm Bureau County Board Meetings and Functions for Promotion of Program
- Network and Promote Resources in Rural Communities in Eastern Oklahoma
- Assist Rural Economic Development Coordinator in Co-Leading Accelerator Clients
- Attending Strategy Sessions with Clients, Stay Up-To-Date on Communication with Clients, Assist with Asks as needed
- Conduct Internal Diligence and Periodic Research for All Accelerator Clients
- Lead boots-on-the-ground efforts for Regional Rural Resource Conferences in Eastern Oklahoma
- Build surveys and data collection strategies for statewide data collection
- Roll out data collection surveys for Eastern Oklahoma
- Attend Rural Ecosystem Builder Meetings and assist with meeting facilitation when needed
- Maintain and update asset map on Launch Rural OK website
Bachelor's Degree; Minimum two years of engagement with small businesses preferred. Agricultural experience preferred.Location Status:
In office, OKC location, at least two days per week. In office, Tulsa location, one day per week.
