With a focus on continuous improvement and employee well-being, they pride themselves on maintaining a safe and compliant work environment across every stage of their manufacturing process.Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across the facility.Investigate accidents, near misses, and safety incidents, and lead root cause analysis and corrective action planning.Maintain accurate safety records and reports, including injury logs, training documentation, and compliance records.Lead safety meetings and training sessions to educate employees on safe work practices, emergency response, and hazard prevention.Collaborate with supervisors and management to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.Serve as the point of contact for safety-related issues and ensure timely resolution of concerns.Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, best practices, and safety innovations.Support environmental compliance efforts as needed, including waste handling and reporting.Participate in new hire orientation and provide ongoing safety support to all departments.Qualifications:2–4 years of experience in a safety-focused role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety standards, and best practices.Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.Ability to conduct effective training and build strong safety engagement at all levels.Familiarity with incident investigation, root cause analysis, and hazard identification.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management systems.OSHA 30 certification preferred; other safety credentials a plus (e.g., First Aid/CPR, HAZWOPER).High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.Candidates must live within 30 minutes of the plant or be willing to relocate within 6 months of employment.Relocation assistance may be considered for the right candidate.What We Offer:Competitive salary based on experience. $65k-75k AnnualComprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and paid time off.A culture that prioritizes employee safety, development, and well-being.Opportunities to grow within a stable and values-driven organization.The chance to make a direct impact on the safety and success of the entire operation.At Legacy Talent Search, we are more than just a staffing agency.
