- Provide Helpful Service: Providing excellent guest service is at the heart of what we do. - Prepare Donuts: Mix, fry, and/or decorate donuts according to recipes and department standards to ensure high-quality, mouth-watering products.
- Enhance Sales: Increase sales by creating visually appealing and delicious donuts.
- Minimize Waste: Follow production lists and recipes accurately, use precise measurements, and minimize waste and reduce shrink to keep operations efficient.
- Offer Assistance: Provide excellent service by assisting guests in finding items, taking orders for special requests, and addressing inquiries with proper phone etiquette.
- Product Management: Package and price items from the service case, and maintain an adequate level of supplies in the bakery by replenishing ingredients and other necessary items.
- Department Support: Contribute to overall department goals by assisting in other areas as needed and maintaining cleanliness by organizing and cleaning work areas, shelving, and the sales floor.
- Food Safety: Adhere to food safety protocols by maintaining food safety logs and ensuring all quality standards are met, including meeting quantity expectations at 100% by 10 am and 5 pm.
- Honor Commitments: Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
- Support the Team: Other duties as assigned.
- Safety Knowledge: Follow all safety requirements and company safety policies, with proper training and knowledge of bakery equipment and procedures, including fryers, etc.
- Customer Focus: Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with guests and all personnel.
- Age Requirements: Individuals in the Donut Fryer role must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Standing for extended periods of time (80% of time)
- Lifting up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis (70% of time)
- Frequently near moving machinery (80% of time)
- Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures (20% of time)
- Repetitive motion of hands and wrists
- Frequently near hot grease (90% of time)
- Weekly Pay & Premium Pay: Hourly associates are paid weekly, providing more frequent access to their funds. Part-time store associates are paid a $1 premium per hour on Sundays and select holidays. Hourly full-time store associates receive time and a half on Sundays and select holidays.
