A multi-discipline engineering firm with over 70 years in business is looking for a Water/Wastewater Engineering Practice Leader for their White Plains office!Responsibilities:
Assist with development/implementation of strategy for Water/Wastewater Department
Implement a plan for growth in existing markets and new areas
Manage projects and project teams, including establishing staffing needs, achievable project schedules and meeting deliverable timelines
Establish project related fees and aggressive revenue projections/profit margins
Assist with the preparation of a detailed discipline plan
Assist with marketing efforts
Ensure standard procedures/processes are being utilized and maintained
Promote the company by attending outside meetings such as trade shows and client presentations/meetings, developing articles, blogs, social media posts and press releases
Prepare/coordinate proposals with help of marketing department and technical staff
Ensure project deadlines and client requirements are met
Assist with staff development and team building activities
Meet/exceed client expectations
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
12+ years of Water/Wastewater engineering experience for municipal, private, and public agency clients
PE License with ability to gain reciprocity in multiple states
Knowledge of Water/Wastewater infrastructure project management, design, construction, operations and administration
Proven record of building/maintaining client relationships
Working knowledge of MS suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Adobe) preferred
Microsoft Outlook experience
Proficient in public speaking
Experience delegating responsibilities
Experience forecasting trends and tracking emerging Water/Wastewater technologies
Ability to travel
