- Assist our Lead Engineer with project engineering tasks.
- Design new or customized versions of our standard product lines (rail sanding and wheel-rail lubrication systems).
- Evaluate and develop retrofit kits/systems for existing products.
- Provide 3D design support for technical manuals and documentation.
- Work closely with procurement to source and evaluate components.
- Implement and manage a new design/change/archiving system.
- Lead the migration of ~20 existing designs into the new system, ensuring it integrates with our upcoming ERP platform.
- Competitive hourly pay: $38-$45 (starting rate depending on experience)
- 38-42 hours per week
- Work/Life Balance hours (no weekends!)

- Engineering degree (Mechanical Engineering or similar).
- Proficiency in 3D CAD design (SolidWorks or comparable).
- Knowledge of CAD data/document management systems (PDM/PLM).
- Hands-on experience with sheet-metal and system fabrication design.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Eager to contribute to process improvement and help implement new systems.
