If that defines everything you do, and if you want to empower others to do the same, you may belong at Legacy as the Sleep Program Manager.ResponsibilitiesThe Sleep Program Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations and staff leadership and mentorship at multiple locations and facilities of Legacy Health Sleep Lab/Sleep Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Program. This role collaborates with the Sleep Program Medical Director and other members of the various Sleep Departments on planning, development and implementation of program goals and operations to provide excellence in sleep care. This position is also responsible for oversight of the Sleep Program’s quality management system and monitoring the program performance measures tracked in the system.The Sleep Program Manager promotes the use of evidence-based guidelines, ensures compliance with state and national standards of care for the sleep care patient population, and shares best practices across the Legacy system. This role supports Sleep Labs to maintain American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) certification and advanced program and promotes professional development and the advancement of clinical practice. This position provides ongoing education and training for clinical staff, patients and family members, and the greater communities that Legacy serves.QualificationsEducation:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field required. Equivalent experience may be substituted year-for-year for the education requirement.
  • Additional education may be necessary to obtain required licensure.
Experience:
  • Three years experience in the field of Sleep Disorders required; 4-6 years strongly preferred.
  • One year experience as a specialist or lead in the field of Sleep Disorders required; 2-3 years preferred.
  • Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Skills:
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with data collection, data entry, report generation and data analysis.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency polysomnography acquisition software and sleep durable medical equipment (DME).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with professional speaking to external and internal audiences.
  • Critical thinking and organizational skills, including ability to prioritize and delegate work appropriately.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of sleep care principles and practices.
  • Intermediate knowledge of systems theory.
  • Ability to provide clinical leadership and act as a change agent/role model.
LicensureLicensure/Certification:
  • Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) license required.
  • Polysomnography Technologist state license required for Oregon work sites.
  • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
