Franciscan Health Dyer Campus24 Joliet St Dyer, Indiana 46311The Program Coordinator GME/CME is responsible to the Designated Institutional Official (DIO) and Program Director(s) of their respective department(s), to support implementation of services that support the academic progress and career development of the trainees in the Department of Graduate Medical Education and its affiliates. This position reports directly to the Director of Graduate Medical Education.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
  • Arranges and provides for speakers for CME lectures or pertaining to their areas and symposia, based on appropriate recommendations.
  • Completes processes as requested for residency/fellowship programs.
  • Completes requests for supplies, equipment and purchased services in a timely fashion, to support medical education.
  • Complies with all requirements of the accrediting body (ACGME), including data input, preparation for site reviews, annual updates, milestones.
  • Develops publicity material to be distributed in a timely manner.
  • Ensures residents are licensed and credentialed appropriately, and as required by bylaws, rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Ensures that Residents/Fellows have had an orientation to the facility, and a call/rotation schedule is distributed house-wide.
  • Manages and oversees ISMA or IACET continuing education process, as required.
  • Manages contracts and maintains status, as required.
  • Manages the Learning Management System, as required.
  • May have responsibilities related to policies and procedures, curriculum development, and scheduling.
  • May have responsibilities related to the comprehensive online database.
  • Prepares and justifies budget with the Director's approval and within agreed upon time frame.
  • Prepares data reports for Risk Management on a regular basis, as required.
  • Prepares expense vouchers, check requisitions, and registration forms.
  • Provides justification for monthly and year-to-date expenditures.
  • Uses reporting to monitor, and ensures that annual health service requirements are completed in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Required High School Diploma/GED
  • Preferred 2 years Administrative Assistant Preferred
