This role usually involves working with department management and presenting information to accounting management. This is an entry-level role that is supervised and does not have significant discretion in autonomous decision-making.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Performing monthly closing responsibilities related to sales and materials, and presenting results to management.
- Performing sales and materials analysis for six budget events each year and presenting results to management.
- Use analytical skills and professional accounting knowledge to create sales breakdowns and profit analysis with some supervision
- Preparing parts and unit pricing quotes with some supervision
- Performing Analysis of material usage and sales price variances with some supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting or finance,
- OR an associate's degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting-related job.
- 0-2 years with a bachelor's degree, 2 years minimum with an associate's degree
- Basic Accounting principles- GAAP/IFRS and Cost accounting background.
- General understanding of accounting functions, terminology, and ability to apply accounting concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Strong Microsoft product skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- SAP Knowledge and skills
- On-site 80%, Remote 20%
- 2-5 hours of OT/week
- Some travel
