- Plan, direct, coordinate and supervise personnel as well as activities concerned with the installation and maintenance of electrical systems and components.
- Supervise and direct the electrical work in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines and coordinate with other trades, to ensure compliance with the overall project schedule and contract documents.

- Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
- Examine and inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and to ensure that specifications are met.
- Interpret and trac project schedule to provide two week look ahead and forecast manpower requirements based on the project goals and schedule.
- Read specifications and blueprints to plan procedures and determine construction requirements.
- Formally manage and request materials and supplies
- Supervise, coordinate, and assign the activities of electricians
- Assist project manager in selecting and contracting with subcontractors, and directly oversee subcontractors who comple specific pieces of the project
- Locate, measure, and mark site locations and placement of structures and equipment, using measure and marking equipment
- Analyze worker, foresee any production problems and recommend solutions, such as improving productions methods or implementing motivational plans
- Train workers in construction methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Review/monitor contractor's procurement of electrical resources, methods, staffing, look ahead schedules, and coordination with other site activities
- Attend and participate in project meetings and provide liason between engineers and contractors to ensure electrical components of the project comply with drawings and specifications.
- Work with project manager and engineering staff to ensure plans, specifications, submittals and RFIs are transmitted to subcontractors accurately and timely.
- 20 + years' experience in a construction related field managing industrial engineering and construction projects.
- Skilled field supervisor with 15+ years of experience managing crews and running multimillion-dollar electrical construction projects.
- At least a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or electrical engineering.
- Related experience in the Energy market
- Advanced leadership skills with managing large teams with many moving parts.
- Ability to read plans/drawings/specifications and interpret data.
- Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge and familiarity with Project Scheduling and Job Costing.
- Construction sequencing and planning, construction scheduling/durations, safety planning, means and methods.
- Travel required (75-100%)
- The physical requirements of this position may include the need for climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing/sitting/walking, pushing/pulling, and lifting up to 40 lbs. In certain situations, this position may expose the candidate to extremes in weather (hot/cold); high noise levels, to hazards such as a proximity to moving machine parts and moving vehicles, electrical current and exposure to chemicals. Employees may be required to take specific training and to wear PPE on some occasions.
