
Medical Equipment Operations Area Manager

- Ensures achievement of A/R objectives are met for the area
- Ensures Area Manager checklist is implemented at each location on an annual basis
- Ensures project deadlines and performance standards are met
- Ensures that all facets of the area are adhering to policies and procedures
- Ensures that area complies with operational procedures, regulatory compliance, and JCAHO regulations
- Evaluates Location Managers (LCM) for accountability, performance, and productivity
- Executes budgets within the Area and locations
- Hires subordinate staff and ensures they are completed all set objectives
- Monitors staffing levels, expenses, equipment utilization, and inventory to ensure maximum performance
- Provides a safe working environment for all employees in compliance with all federal, state and local laws including: DOT, FDA, EEOC, OSHA and other agencies
- Responsible for the supervision of the Locations Managers within the Area
- Understands and implements medical regulations and guidelines for reimbursement
- Works closely with Regional Manager and Division Vice President to implement protocols, programs, and tools to increase performance
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Travel up to 70% of the time
- Must reside within 75 miles of one of the locations supported and maintain an office within the Area as agreed upon with Division level management for non-travel days
- Background investigation (company-wide)

- Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, required
- Education or experience equivalent to a 4-year college degree
- Three years related experience, required
- Previous supervisory experience, required
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred
- Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written
- Interpret a variety of communications (verbal, non-verbal, written, listening and visual)
- Maintain confidentiality, discretion and caution when handling sensitive information
- Multi-task along with attention to detail
- Self-motivation, organized, time-management and deductive problem solving skills
- Work independently and as part of a team
