- Provides comprehensive support and analysis to optimize the adoption and utilization of the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Identifies gaps and inefficiencies related to workflow and usage of the EMR system and takes a new perspective using existing solutions.
- Collaborates with the Clinical Informatics team to support EMR system planning, implementation, and end user training.
- Solves complex problems.
- Designs, implements, and delivers training activities as well as end-user support to improve EMR system adoption and optimization.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
- As a senior, will need to be able to demonstrate autonomous decision making and help develop other team members.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years relevant ambulatory, clinical, healthcare, or training experience required.
- Requires the ability to travel 10-15% within Indiana.
- Requires the ability to work flexible hours (some overnight and weekend hours required).
- Cerner Electronic Medical Record experience preferred.
- Clinical certification preferred (LPN, CMA, RT, etc.).
