One of GPAC’s top clients, a highly reputable equipment company, is seeking a Service Manager to lead and grow their Service Department. This is a great opportunity for an experienced leader with a strong technical background who is ready to oversee a high-performing team and drive operational success.Compensation: $80,000–$100,000 base + bonus potential, full benefits packageThe Service Manager will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and profitable operation of the Service Department. This individual will oversee day-to-day shop operations, lead a team of 9–10 employees, manage budgets and staffing, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.Position ResponsibilitiesLead, manage, and coach the Service Department team to achieve monthly goals and maintain professional service standards.Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management for service technicians.Manage department budgets, resources, and workflow for efficiency and profitability.Ensure shop organization and appearance reflect professionalism and company standards.Build strong customer relationships through consistent communication and quality service.Support technicians in improving technical skills, safety practices, and overall performance.Oversee maintenance and repair of both small and large agricultural/construction equipment.Desired Qualifications5+ years of equipment/engine diagnosis and repair experience, preferably in agriculture, construction, outdoor power, recreational vehicles, or related industries.Proven leadership and management experience in a service environment.Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.Ability to operate forklifts, trailers, and related equipment (training provided if needed).Strong communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteThis is a great opportunity to join a family-oriented, well-established company with a strong reputation in the equipment industry.
