- Drive continuous improvement in product quality, taste, and nutritional value while adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Define project timelines, milestones, and resource requirements for product development and sourcing initiatives.
- Track progress, identify potential roadblocks, and take proactive measures to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Effectively communicate project updates, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food science, ingredient functionality, culinary trends, and food manufacturing processes.
- Culinary background and a deep understanding of culinary trends and techniques.
- Technical background in food science coupled with experience in sourcing and developing strategic partnerships.
- Demonstrated ability to influence others, lead teams, and manage stakeholders effectively.
- Familiarity with food regulations, quality standards, and industry certifications (e.g., FDA, USDA, SQF, BRC).
- Solution-oriented mindset, with a knack for creating efficiencies and driving continuous improvement.
- Customer-centric approach and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
- Strong analytical skills and a test-and-learn mentality to drive product improvements.
