Are you interested in a 10-12-week, part-time, remote Internship at a new early-stage investment firm? If you have at least 18 months of experience in strategic business operations and/or consulting and are currently enrolled in an MBA or technical Ph.D. program, please read on! Available for an immediate start date.We are Braven, an early-stage investment firm built for breakthroughs within large, regulated sectors, beginning with finance, insurance, and healthcare. We are a new model of early-stage investing, a hybrid of the best of VC, PE, and consulting in which founders, investors, and partners collaborate in unprecedented ways to build and scale early-stage breakthrough companies. We founded Braven with the conviction that there are large, underserved opportunities to do good in the world while concurrently earning outsized financial returns and have exponential impacts on key industries.As our firm expands, we seek a part-time (15-20 hours per week) paid Intern based in the US and currently enrolled in a top MBA or technical Ph.D. program. In this role, you will report to William Abecassis, our Managing Partner and the former founder of BlackRock's $1B+ venture group. Your primary focus will be researching and validating case studies relating to potential investments as well as our broader intelligence gathering operations.Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities…
  • Developing and validating in-depth case studies through researching large amounts of information and synthesizing the findings with a robust and thoughtful viewpoint
  • Market mapping and/or market research projects
Required Experience
  • A minimum of 18 months experience working in a relevant role (Associate, Engagement Manager, Consultant, Corporate Strategy, etc.).
  • Currently enrolled in a top MBA, Ph.D., or similar advanced education program
  • Record of high performance, characterized by achievements attained through comprehensive information gathering, incisive analysis, hypothesis formulation and rigorous testing
