Qualifications:Required Skills:
  • Enrolled in a Doctor of Pharmacy program at an accredited institution or recently graduated from an accredited Pharmacy Program.
  • Actively seeking registration as a Pharmacist.
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
  • Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
  • Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
Responsibilities:Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and the supervision by a Registered Pharmacist, and to the extent allowed by law, this position fills orders for oral, parenteral and enteral medications, monitors patient drug therapies and provides drug information. Follows all rules and regulations set forth by federal and state agencies regarding pharmacy practice. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
