Job Title: Warehouse ManagerLocation: Houma, LouisianaPosition Overview: A Warehouse Manager is responsible for directing all activities within the warehouse department, including satellite warehouses and storage locations, and supervising warehouse personnel. This role ensures efficient material handling, accurate inventory control, and adherence to company policies and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and organize picking, packing, inventory management, and material load-outs.
  • Generate documentation for warehouse staff to pick and assign materials to correct bins/locations.
  • Supervise all warehouse processes and personnel, including satellite/storage facilities.
  • Coordinate efficient material flow and tracking between warehouses and production lines.
  • Conduct and reconcile physical inventory counts using data systems.
  • Oversee annual physical inventory of non-project warehouse stock.
  • Organize and manage outgoing shipments to various locations per department or organizational requests.
  • Ensure security and safeguard warehouse operations and inventory through active monitoring and policy implementation.
Experience:
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in warehouse operations in addition to some experience within a leadership/supervisory role.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Solid knowledge of warehousing functions and procedures.
  • Proficiency with basic computer software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with others and lead a team effectively.
