QC Lab Technician (Medical Device)Day Shift: Monday - Friday from 8am - 4:30pm | Long-Term Opportunity | Direct Hire | Excellent Room for GrowthJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to join our team due to increased customer growth and the need for more technical testing. In this role, you will support process and product quality testing by preparing equipment, samples, and materials, which will be sent to an out-of-state lab for further analysis. You will be responsible for submitting samples such as TOC Device Extraction, pH testing, FTIR, water collection for Bioburden, and air particulate testing.Responsibilities
  • Collect, prepare, and submit samples to various labs.
  • Verify and analyze results.
  • Prepare and mix chemical formulations for Production/Manufacturing use.
  • Conduct in-process quality control tasks.
  • Maintain maintenance records for all equipment.
  • Perform environmental monitoring of the cleanroom.
  • Conduct daily pre-operational QC checks of passivation chemistry.
  • Carry out package visual inspection, seal strength, and integrity testing.
  • Perform analytical tests using FTIR, microscopes, Smart Desiccator, and ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy.
  • Use measurement equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and rulers.
  • Review sterilization certificates for full release.
  • Review the LHRs for completion.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct QC investigations and CAPAs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • References that can attest to your quality mindset.
  • Proficiency in environmental monitoring, bioburden, plating, microbiology, quality control, and laboratory quality assurance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Biochemistry is preferred.
  • Ability to follow SOP's
Work EnvironmentThis position is fully on-site in St. Paul, MN, with 75% of the time spent in the lab and 25% at a desk. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
