The Learning Experience (TLE) is opening its first-ever center in Staten Island—right in the heart of St. George! As part of one of the fastest-growing early education brands in the U.S., we’re committed to creating joyful, safe, and developmentally rich environments for children from infancy through age 5.We’re looking for a Lead Infant Teacher who is passionate, nurturing, and ready to make a difference from day one.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a nurturing infant classroom in compliance with NYC DOHMH Article 47
- Implement TLE’s proprietary L.E.A.P.® Curriculum and infant care routines
- Ensure a warm, responsive caregiving approach to build strong bonds with each child
- Maintain daily reports of feedings, diapers, naps, and milestones
- Follow health, safety, and sanitization procedures
- Communicate effectively and regularly with families
- Partner with center leadership to support overall classroom quality
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Associate’s degree/Bachelor's Degree.OR...
- Study Plan with 90+ college credits (including 6+ ECE credits)
- At least 1 year of supervised teaching experience with infants under 12 months in a daycare setting.
- Understanding of responsive caregiving and infant developmental stages
- CPR/First Aid and DOHMH trainings preferred (can be completed upon hire)
