This position works with developers, infrastructure administrators, and end users to ensure performant delivery of data supporting core business operations.This position reports to the Manager of Data Services and is part of the Data Services team located in Coralville and will be an on-site roleIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:Administer a broad SQL Server environment comprising ~50 instances and ~150 TB of dataMonitor SQL Server utilization and provide recommendations to meet IDT’s evolving needsAssist internal development teams to design and deploy accurate and performant T-SQLFormulate policies, procedures, and standards relating to database managementWork with independent software vendors to meet their data needs while also maintaining IDT’s standards for security and integrityThe essential requirements of the job include:Bachelor’s degree, or Associate’s degree in a related field with equivalent experience.5+ years of experience in a similar role administering SQL Server.3+ years of experience administering SQL Server 2012 or later.1+ year of experience administering SQL Server Availability Groups, Replication, and Clustering.Proven experience collaborating within cross-functional teams composed of both technical and non-technical personnel.It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:Administering SQL Server backups using Rubrik Security CloudPowerShell 5.1/7SQL Server Query StoreIDT, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
