Tesoro Group is seeking a Part-time Front Desk Administrative Assistant to join our clients team at (1) of their properties in Burnsville, MN (55337). The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience within an administrative role, property management is a plus! This role is direct hire role.Salary: $22-$24/hour DOQ. This role is a direct hire role.Schedule: Monday-Thursday: 9:00am-2:00pm (5 hours/day - 20 hours a week).The Administrative Assistant will support the day-to-day management of the corporate office. This person will perform high-level administrative work such as working within multiple Word documents, inputting data into Excel Spreadsheets, working with Mail Merger and scheduling, coordinating and compiling business information.Job Duties and Expectations:
  • Greeting and welcome visitors in a professional manner
  • Answer phone calls promptly and manage inquiries with effective phone etiquette
  • Perform clerical duties including data entry, filing and maintaining office supplies
  • Operate office equipment such as printers, copiers and postage machine
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to create a welcoming environment
  • Prepare and maintain beverage station
  • Manage incoming and outgoing USPS, FedEx, and UPS deliveries
  • HR duties: on boarding employees, Employee Benefits and other duties as needed.
  • Do you have experience with MS Office, specifically within Excel and Word (Word, can you/have you performs such tasks as: Typing a letter, generating the envelope, editing/saving a Word document, converting it to PDF. As it pertains to Excel, can you add/delete a line, can you insert data into cells of an existing spreadsheet, can you highlight a cell, can you make/create a basic formula?)
  • Document processing, scanning, and copying
  • Maintain office cleanliness; make sure dishes are clean and the kitchen area is properly maintained
  • Ordering various office supplies
  • Filing
  • Maintain Corporate Calendar
  • Prepare Monday Reports weekly
  • Water and maintain 3 gardens weekly
  • Special projects as assigned
Requirements
  • You must be organized and detail oriented
  • Strong Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Mail Merger.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be organized with the ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Must be punctual, flexible, a self-starter each day, and a team player

  • At least 3 years’ experience in an administrative/front desk or customer facing position.
  • Be able to pass a background check.
  • Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation (once a month roving to another location for manager meetings 1x a month).
