- Proactively identify and recommend opportunities to enhance the user experience for CCS member libraries and patrons.
- Develop and conduct a range of UX activities, focusing on patron and member-facing applications and staff processes.
- Compile data and analysis into comprehensive reports summarizing findings, insights, and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Serve as project manager for organizational projects and strategic initiatives as assigned, including usability testing and new product implementations.
- Develop and lead virtual and in-person training for CCS member libraries in area of expertise, including search and discovery.
- Provide outreach services to membership, including usability consultations, relationship-building meetings, and customized training sessions.
- Design, create and maintain diverse types of training materials for CCS and member library staff, including website and learning tools.
- Provide technical support and consulting to member libraries, with a focus on the online catalog and related tools.
- Partner with third party vendors to test, implement, and support integrations with the ILS and online catalog.
- Represent CCS on local, state, and national committees as appropriate.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Understanding of WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics or related tools preferred.
- Experience with Integrated Library Systems preferred.
- Knowledge and experience of producing and presenting training materials.
- Experience working with content management systems or learning management systems.
- Exceptional analytical skills to interpret and present data.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel locally to member libraries and training events about once a month.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends on a limited basis with no on-call duties.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Information Design, Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field, or Master's Degree in Library and Information Science.
- 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Capstone and internship experience will be considered.
