
Respiratory Therapist (HYBRID)

- Provide respiratory therapy services as prescribed by the physician
- Follow policies and procedures and conform to all applicable patient care standards, licensure regulations and state laws
- Assist in securing treatment orders from physician
- Generate, evaluate and update plan of care for all patients based upon needs
- Documents patient response to therapy, patient condition, and changes in status
- Routinely communicate with physician regarding continued efficacy of treatment
- Routine set-up and maintenance of all respiratory therapy modalities
- Provide in-services for nursing personnel
- Participate in patient care conferences, staff meetings, and team conferencing
- Reflect current knowledge of trends, research and recent advances in the respiratory care of the medically complex child
- Maintain awareness of and complies with Company policy and procedures
- Complete and maintain billing information. Submits on a timely basis
- Associate's Degree
- Certification as Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT)
- Current and unrestricted license as a CRT/RRT in the state of practice
- Current and unrestricted license as an RRT in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures
- One (1) year experience in respiratory home care preferred
- Continuing Education as required by state
- Must be located within 45 minutes from OKC office; Weekly Equipment and Supply pick up needed
- Bachelor's Degree
- Pediatric experience
- Ability to adhere to confidentiality standards and professional boundaries at all times
