Our warm, cozy dining area embodies the same relaxed style as Willows Lodge, making Barking Frog one of the most widely desired restaurants in Woodinville and the wider Seattle area.Barking Frog, of Willows Lodge, is looking to hire a dedicated, passionate and experienced Backwaiter. Our Backwaiter is an essential role in the Barking Frog. They are a busser, expo, server's assistant, and room service attendant.As a Backwaiter, responsibilities begin with, but are not limited to:
  • Prepare dining room for patrons by setting tables
  • Perform table maintenance- removing finished dishes, filling water and bread service
  • Support server staff
  • Ring in room service orders and deliver to guest rooms
  • Help expedite and run food in a timely manner
  • Be alert and respond to guests needs
  • Set-up, break down and stock stations nightly
  • Assist with dishes at the bar
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and staff
  • Check sanitizer stations and replenish on a regular base
  • Polish glassware and silver
  • Be positive and willing to assist/help at all times
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • Wage range: $18.66/Hour - $18.66/Hour + Tips
  • Eligible for medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and life insurance under our existing group plans
  • Eligible for 401(k) retirement plan with employer match following 1 year of service under our existing plan
  • 11 days of PTO accrued in the first year based on an employee working 40 hours each week
  • Complimentary meal in employee lounge during shift
  • Free parking
Qualifications
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Current WA State food handler's permit
  • Current WA State MAST (alcohol server's permit)
  • Someone with an engaging and welcoming personality
  • Someone with knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits
  • Someone who can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Someone with a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
  • Someone with excellent communication skills
  • Someone who can regularly lift and carry 35 lbs.
Compensation RangeThe compensation for this position is $18.66/Hr. - $18.66/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
