- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze and interpret blueprints to determine dimensions and tolerances of aerospace components.
- Set up Mill/Turn machines, must have Mazak, Fanuc, and Siemens CNC control. (Integrex, WFL), and operate
- Perform FA inspections with mechanical inspection tools. Make necessary adjustments to set up or NC code.
- Optimize programs for production.
- Complete inspection reports as required.
- Report any defects found and document critical quality information as necessary.
- Perform preventative maintenance and ensure machines are operating optimally.
- Work with programmers to optimize set-up and fixturing.
- Document tool and machine set up after FA approval.
- Communicate with managers, production control, engineering, quality and other shop personnel for assignments
- Act as subject matter expert and train co-workers as requested.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area complying with all 5S initiatives.
- Advise Production Supervisor of any maintenance problems that may need to be resolved.
- Follow and comply with all safety and personal protective equipment requirements.
- Document and time track through our ERP system as necessary.
