We Need: Supportive and caring individuals with good verbal communication skills looking for a position to work with adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) in a residential home setting. The Residential staff helps by providing support and training to 5 - 6 individuals each day.Job Type: Full-time; typically, 40 hours per weekRate: $16.00 per hourSchedule: Monday -Friday 8:00 am -4:00 pmZip Code:28215What You'll Do:
  • Teach meal planning and cooking.
  • Instruct and assist with household cleaning, personal care & hygiene.
  • Facilitating community integration by providing community recreational activities when available
  • Offer guidance with in-home leisure activities.
  • Documentation of activities.
  • Helping residents develop healthy social habits.
  • Dispensing medication and monitoring dosages.
  • Attending doctor's appointments as needed.
  • Must be willing to drive a full-size passenger van.
