- Serve as the lead consultant for OpenGov EAM implementations, accountable for end-to-end project success.
- Lead discovery sessions, gather detailed business requirements, and translate them into system design specifications.
- Architect EAM solutions, including system configuration, workflow design, integrations, data migration oversight, and reporting.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables across multiple active projects.
- Act as primary client liaison, building strong relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Lead client training sessions, workshops, and user adoption activities.
- Conduct solution demonstrations and support pre-sales scoping when needed.
- Perform hands-on system configuration of EAM platform.
- Design and test complex workflows, automations, integrations, and reporting solutions.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, lead problem resolution, and escalate to vendor support as needed.
- Provide oversight and guidance for data migration efforts, including data mapping and quality assurance.
- Develop and maintain solution documentation, configuration records, and client-specific deployment standards.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for internal staff, providing technical guidance and solution design coaching.
- Help train, mentor, and develop junior consultants and analysts to build technical delivery capabilities within the team.
- Contribute to refining delivery templates, documentation standards, and best practices.
- Participate in ongoing practice development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years' experience leading EAM, ERP, or SaaS software implementations.
- Deep knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management processes, particularly in Public Works, Transportation, Utilities, or Facilities Management.
- Strong experience with OpenGov EAM or comparable EAM systems (Cartegraph, Cityworks, Infor, Maximo, etc.).
- Hands-on experience configuring SaaS platforms, developing business workflows, setting up automation rules, and designing system integrations.
- Familiarity with data management, data migration, and data validation processes.
- Strong facilitation skills for client discovery, solution design, and stakeholder alignment.
- Solid project management experience: managing scope, schedules, and budgets.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong aptitude for problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Experience working directly with public sector clients.
- PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification (or willingness to obtain within 12 months).
- Exposure to GIS, work order management, infrastructure asset data models.
- Experience mentoring junior staff or building internal technical capability.
- Experience using project management tools
- A competitive salary! The expected range for this position is $130K - $150K/ salary depending on experience. Compensation may be adjusted for well qualified candidates
