Description / Job SummarySAFETY SENSITIVE POSITIONSchedule: Monday – Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., overtime as needed, including Fridays and weekend work. Must be able to work 7 days a week 12-hour night shift for approximately 3 months during harvest.Job Summary: Supervise the operation and employees. Conduct inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure that the equipment is functioning properly and housekeeping (sweeping, scooping, etc.) is adequately maintained. Monitors and confirms accurate documentation of production, maintenance, and sanitation procedures according to food safety and quality assurance guidelines.Basic Qualifications
Must possess a minimum of 3 years’ Industrial experience. (Grain experience preferred).
Must possess maintenance experience including, stick welding, cutting, basic electrical and equipment repair.
Must possess leadership abilities. (Delegation, conflict management, problem solving, and confidentiality).
Must possess industrial equipment experience. (Bobcat, Forklift, JLG, etc.)
Must possess a valid driver’s license, with no citations in the last 12 months.
Must be over the age of 21.
Must be able to read, speak, write and understand the English language fluently.
Must be willing and able to climb up to 200 ft.
Must be willing and able to bend, stoop, twist, turn, push and pull throughout the day.
Must be willing and able to lift up to 100 lbs. as needed.
Must be willing and able to be trained in all aspects of the dryer operation (Grade, sample, transfer rice, and all required paperwork).
Must be willing and able to drive a standard transmission Bob Truck.
Must be willing and able to work in adverse weather conditions for extended periods of time. (Heat, Cold, Humidity, Rain, Etc.)
Must be familiar with basic industrial safety rules and use of Personal Protective Equipment.
Must be willing and able to follow all safety and food safety rules.
