This role offers the opportunity to work in a rapidly developing field, providing legal advice on a broad range of digital products and services. You will be part of a high-performing team that supports Chase's digital initiatives and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations.The Legal Department at JPMorgan Chase & Co. manages legal and other risks, advises on products and services, interprets laws and regulations that impact the firm, and advises the firm on other matters.   • Provide commercially pragmatic and trusted legal advice on digital products and services.
  • Issue-spot, research, and escalate risks related to digital products and applicable laws.
  • Interact with senior business clients and provide support on legal issues and regulatory items.
  • Collaborate with control partners to ensure awareness and resolution of issues.
  • Participate in legal department and cross-line business initiatives and projects.
  • Represent the team in committees, programs, and forums, ensuring team awareness of relevant issues.
  • Contribute to the culture, collaboration, and cohesiveness of the legal team.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Licensed to practice law and a member in good standing in the state of the position.
  • At least five years of legal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to think and act collaboratively as a strong team player.
  • Perseverance and patience to work through ambiguity and see matters to completion.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to foster and maintain strong relationships with business partners and control partners.
  • Comfortably work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Prior experience with or interest in digital and/or technology matters.
  • A good sense of humor.
