Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun and nurturing music educator who is experienced in teaching early childhood music. In addition to teaching in a one-on-one setting, this teacher would be debuting our brand new early childhood program for our music school in Caldwell, New Jersey.We are looking for instructors who will teach IN PERSON.Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in Music Education or Music Performance and a demonstrated love of teaching. Experience working with children ages 5-7 years old, and the ability to pass a routine background check are a must. Proficient piano and guitar skills are helpful but not required. The candidate should feel comfortable reading, interpreting and implementing lesson plans from a program.Teacher will be teaching one-on-one lessons to children ages 5-7 years old. As the program grows, we are looking to expand the program to offer a weekly Music Explorers group class with a dedicated curriculum to children ages 5-7 years old in addition to the one-on-one classes.Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $30-38/hour.A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all of our employees after 90 days on the job.About Ensemble SchoolsEnsemble Schools is a partnership of community-driven music & dance schools that maintain individual identities but share resources to ensure their mutual success.
