If you have experience managing patient documentation and information within a healthcare setting , this is a fantastic opportunity to join the Reimbursement Operations team at the global leader in implantable hearing devices! In this role, you will be based in our Americas head office in Lone Tree, CO. This role is hybrid, requiring you to be in the office 2 days per week minimum, with 3 days per week working from home.This role ensures obtaining required documentation and information from recipients to process their insurance orders prior to the PreClaim process flow. To be successful in this role you’ll be able to provide exceptional service to customers by efficiently sorting incoming mail, email, and fax sent to the Reimbursement Operations and Customer Experience teams.   • Navigate and utilize operational systems and resources while managing unqualified orders following date and urgency prioritization workflow
  • Sort incoming emails to the appropriate department or representative to facilitate communication between operational groups and our recipients, clinical partners and insurance contacts
  • Verify eligibility, investigate insurance benefits and validate coverage; calculate and collect recipient out‐of‐pocket estimates based on their deductible, coinsurance and out‐of‐pocket maximum
  • Collect and evaluate recipient documentation for accuracy, requirements and validity
  • Communicate professionally, effectively and clearly with customers to ensure understanding and meet the customer need; engage with cross‐functional business partners to support reimbursement processes, orders and customers
Key RequirementsTo add value to Cochlear in this role you'll be able to meet and demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and abilities in your application and at interview:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2‐3 Years of Administrative and Customer‐facing Experience
  • Strong computer skills (preferably in Microsoft Office) and experience utilizing common office resources (phone, fax, copier and email)
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with customers, colleagues, and the hearing impaired with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Pay Range in the United States: $23.50 - $26.00 per hour based upon experience, as well as an annual bonus opportunity of 5% of base salary. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
