- Ensure the Cybersecurity risk management process is in place and the appropriate operational security posture is maintained and documented to protect and defend the capabilities and assets of the ARNG MTC Type Training Enclaves, Information Systems, fielded Program Managed Systems, and Training and Exercise Networks

- Ensure the simulations and training networks are operational 98% of the time during training and exercises (98% of the time excludes scheduled downtimes, system and software upgrades, and network problems caused by elements outside line of demarcation)

- Ensure each MTC can conduct one large (multi-echelon) and one medium scale (single echelon) JLCCTC supported exercise simultaneously
- Install, operate, integrate, troubleshoot communications, application, configurations, establish network addresses and connections, monitor and analyze system performance, recommend and perform application maintenance, conduct data backups, system recovery, install information assurance vulnerability alert (IAVA) patches, security updates, responding to critical vulnerabilities, and conducting remediation before, during, and after training exercises using the JLCCTC suite and a friend of the federation.
