Manager of Environmental Services

• Department Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Environmental Services Department, ensuring compliance with company policies, bargaining unit contracts, and regulatory agencies.
• Staff Supervision: Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate department personnel. Provide leadership and support as a working manager, stepping in to assist with assignments as needed.
• Budgeting & Inventory: Develop and maintain the department's annual budget. Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Facility Cleanliness & Projects: Maintain a calendar of major cleaning projects, ensuring all areas are kept clean and well-maintained.
• Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and external contractors, ensuring that all services and equipment meet the required standards.
• Communication: Effectively communicate goals, standards, and expectations to staff, residents, and vendors. Foster positive interdepartmental relationships to support organizational goals.
• Additional Responsibilities: Attend organizational meetings, actively contribute to team discussions, and take on any other duties as assigned.

• Education: High School Diploma required. A college degree in a related field or certification from the International Executive Housekeepers Association (IEHA) or similar organization is preferred.
• Experience: 2-5 years of supervisory experience in Environmental or Building Services.
• Skills & Knowledge: Knowledge of OSHA regulations and professional cleaning techniques.

• Ability to perform all duties outlined in the job description, which may include kneeling, climbing ladders, reaching, lifting up to 40 lbs, and standing for extended periods.
• Must be able to tolerate a variety of environmental conditions such as noise, dust, cleaning chemicals, etc.
