Due to anticipated organizational growth, Liberty Healthcare is hiring Registered Nurses for potential new part-time Nurse Assessor positions.This is a key role with a statewide program which will help a significant number of children, youth, and families receive necessary long term services and supports so they may live as independently as possible in the community.This goals of this program include:
  • Providing Employment and Community First (ECF) CHOICES training and technical assistance
  • Pre-Admission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) processes
  • Medical or Level of Care (LOC) eligibility assessment and appeals for Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS)
  • Supports Intensity Scale (SIS) and Inventory for Client and Agency (ICAP) assessments
As an Assessor with Liberty Healthcare, your responsibilities will include:
  • Working on an as needed basis
  • Travelling to client locations throughout the region
  • Meeting in-person with children, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing mental illness or living with a physical disability or intellectual and developmental disability
  • Administering Level of Care and Katie Beckett assessments
  • Documenting and writing reports
This role is limited to administering assessments and does not involve providing nursing care to people.As a part-time employee of Liberty Healthcare in this role, you can expect a flexible schedule, competitive hourly compensation, and reimbursement for work-related mileage and travel expenses. A laptop, mobile phone, and other office equipment will be provided.Skills & RequirementsYou are a good fit for this position if you possess the following:
  • Professional licensure in Tennessee as a Registered Nurse
  • Pediatric nursing experience
  • Experience providing nursing care to people who are living physical disabilities, mental illness, and intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Computer skills
  • Willingness to travel throughout the region
