We don’t just build world-class strength equipment — we engineer the systems that design, schedule, fabricate, track, and deliver it.We’re hiring a Product Owner to lead the development of internal software applications that support manufacturing and warehouse operations. This role is responsible for defining product strategy, managing backlogs, and delivering tools that improve execution, visibility, and scalability across core operational systems.You will be accountable for the full product lifecycle management of internal platforms, from roadmap definition to production release, working with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Warehouse Operations.The Product Owner - Operations Software is a fully onsite role in Columbus, Ohio. Remote work is not available.Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.ResponsibilitiesOwn and execute the full product lifecycle for internal operations softwareDefine the product vision and roadmap for manufacturing and warehouse applicationsPrioritize features and manage the product backlog using Agile and product management best practicesTranslate operational needs into actionable technical requirementsPartner with stakeholders to gather functional and business requirementsDevelop user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria aligned with real operational workflowsLead cross-functional product development using Agile methodologiesFacilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planningSupport engineering throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC) and coordinate releasesIdentify, measure, and improve key operational metrics through software solutionsCollaborate with stakeholders to define success metrics tied to productivity, labor efficiency, and schedulingDeliver tools that impact KPIs such as:Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)Labor Utilization RatePlanned vs. Actual OutputInventory AccuracyMaterial Handling Pick Accuracy / ThroughputUse performance data to validate outcomes and guide future iterationsEvaluate and guide technology decisions for operations softwareIdentify opportunities to improve workflow, visibility, and data flowRecommend tools and platforms that align with long-term operational goalsSupport interoperability between ERP, WMS, MES, and other systemsEnable adoption and long-term usabilityDevelop process documentation, training materials, and change supportGather user feedback and iterate on features to improve usability and performanceLeverage AI toolsets to improve efficiency in product development workflowsApply generative AI and automation platforms to accelerate requirement definition, documentation, and testing artifact creationUse AI-driven insights to support solution design, decision-making, and communicationContinuously explore emerging AI technologies relevant to internal operations and product ownershipRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or operations-focused field, such as:Computer Science, Software EngineeringIndustrial / Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering3+ years experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager for internal software applicationsStrong understanding of Agile software development practices and product lifecycle managementExperience translating operational needs into clear, implementable technical requirementsEffective communication and decision-making skills across both technical and business teamsFamiliarity with enterprise platforms such as ERP, WMS, MES, or similar internal systemsPreferred Qualifications1-3+ years of experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or industrial operationsProduct ownership or Agile certifications, including:Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO)
