Job Category: Clinical / Direct Patient Care (non-RN)Job Description:Job SummaryUW Health in northern Illinois seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA-C) to join our family medicine team in Rockford, Illinois. We are looking for a dedicated candidate to provide our patients with high-quality treatment and embody our mission - “Through excellence in healthcare and compassionate service, we care for our community.”Your clinical support includes the following:
  • The region's largest and most-preferred medical group and health system
  • Flexible schedule working Monday through Friday - no weekend requirement
  • Full-service academic hospital support including the SwedishAmerican Heart Hospital and the SwedishAmerican Women's and Children's hospital
  • Excellent tertiary specialty support from University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health
  • Robust onboarding program for all new providers to the system and additional support for new graduates in Family Medicine
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree from accredited PA program or completion of a master's level advanced practice nurse program.
  • Active APRN or PA license in State of IL and active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
