MalaceHR is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee facility operations within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role combines hands-on technical maintenance leadership with full responsibility for coordinating property management, building systems, and regulatory compliance. The Site Manager will act as the primary liaison with the client, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations of all systems, staff, and vendor relationships. Shift 7am-4pmThe successful candidate will have the ability to lead by example, performing maintenance work alongside the team while also driving facility strategy, compliance, and reporting requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Client RelationsAct as the primary point of contact with the client, managing relationships, staff, budgets, and vendors.Supervise, train, and evaluate a team of maintenance technicians, while serving as a hands-on technical leader.Conduct team meetings to review priorities, safety topics, and performance improvements.Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and safety regulations.Facility Operations & MaintenanceActively perform and oversee maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and electrical/mechanical systems.Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and automated systems as needed.Coordinate and oversee repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance programs.Monitor the facility to ensure it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained.Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and compliance records.Planning & AdministrationDevelop and manage budgets for contracts, equipment, and supplies.Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet operational and client requirements.Analyze facility trends to project future expenses and operational needs.Ensure timely and accurate reporting to both client and MalaceHR leadership.Skills & QualificationsStrong knowledge of building systems, facility maintenance, and administration.Excellent verbal/written communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Solid understanding of strategic planning, resource allocation, and maintenance best practices.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and CMMS systems.Ability to apply accounting principles to budget management and forecasting.Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and mentor technical staff.Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field preferred).10+ years of related experience in facilities management or maintenance leadership, with at least 3–5 years in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated manufacturing environment.Hands-on technical background in mechanical, electrical, or automation systems required.
