This transformation builds the foundation which will help power our planet, reduce carbon emissions, and create cleaner air for everyone.The ERP Modernization - Technical Lead (SAP BTP), Senior Advisor will help drive digital transformation by collaborating with various IT teams, system integrators, and business teams to adopt and implement the S/4 HANA platform along with SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) cloud services. You will ensure that the technical implementation of the solution aligns with business requirements. You will provide oversight in reviewing functional and technical specifications as well as provide realization and post launch support. As the SAP Technical Lead, you will ensure that the solution is aligned with development standard methodologies, while communicating status to the project management team.A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!
  • Serve as the technical lead for SAP BTP solution and oversee design and implementation for the NextGen ERP program
  • Collaborate with business teams, IT, and system integrators to deliver effective solutions that are aligned with SAP standard methodologies
  • Apply deep technical expertise in SAP ECC, S/4 HANA, OData, and ABAP development to ensure that designs meet functional and technical requirements
  • Create technical specifications of the proposed solutions and perform peer reviews
  • Support testing and deployment of the solution during go live in various phases of the program
The essentials
  • Ten (10) or more years of SAP ABAP development experience, in one or more of the following modules\: FICO, MM, SD, WM, PM, AM, or EWM.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in SAP S/4 HANA on-prem/ cloud, and Fiori full-stack development.
  • Experience and knowledge in the Utilities and/or Manufacturing industries.
  • Extensive experience with creating, reviewing, and maintaining technical specifications
  • Previous experience in implementing S/4 HANA greenfield, or upgrading ECC to S/4 HANA
The preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related major.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) services.
  • Ten (10) or more years of experience collaborating with business customers, solution architects, system integrators, and development teams to understand user cases, and translating them into robust solutions.
  • Superb communication, project management, and organization skills.
  • Experience and knowledge of electric utilities industry and business processes or data flows.
  • SAP certificate in ABAP/Fiori Development, BTP Extension, or related S/4 HANA modules.

  • This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
