- The Welder-Fabricator that holds a lead capacity may also be responsible for training and development of newly onboarded employees.
- Pipe fitting
- Fitting & Tacking the pieces into the weldment – Measuring and clamping the material and then tack welding.
- TIG Welding (GWAT) – TIG is performed the vast majority of the time
- Participate in all safety programs and follow all safety policies and rules.
- Other duties as assigned
- External customers/end-users: Aesthetically pleasing & structurally sound welds are critical to customer satisfaction: they are a key component of the "fit and finish" of the product.
- Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum Experience: Hand tool proficiency

- This position involves exposure to physical hazards associated with working in a metal fabrication/welding environment 100% of the time. This position also involves indoor/sheltered work. Noise levels exceeding 85 dB are routinely present. Infrequently involves exposure to temperature extremes and fumes/odors consistent with working in a metal fabrication shop.
- Job involves constant standing, as well as climbing over/under equipment and working in awkward positions (squatting, welding on your back or stomach), reaching, bending and stooping.
- Routine lifting of less than 10 lbs and occasionally up to 30 lbs.
- Periodically required to work navigate stairs, take elevators, and climb ladders.
- Periodically required to work in confined spaces.
