- Responsible for developing hiring & sourcing plans to meet business needs.
- Independently screens, interviews, hires, and onboards talent for regular hourly and seasonal positions. Works in partnership with HR & Retail leadership for exempt roles.
- Manages job postings across all advertising channels to attract strong talent for regular and seasonal positions in a timely manner while minimizing spend.
- Evaluates advertising performance and provides proactive recommendations for optimizing advertising across channels (print, social, digital).
- Supports Global Onboarding team in conducting new hire orientation, including ensuring all legal and company required paperwork is completed accurately, thoroughly, and within designated timeframes.
- Investigates and resolves employee relation issues, providing input on performance and development needs. Ensures leadership is properly informed on findings and partners with execution of next steps. Ensures proper documentation.
- Partners with Employee Relations and/or legal on investigations of Harassment and other conduct-related claims, along with the conducting of terminations and administration of other disciplinary actions.
- Assists with the rollout, communication of new policies, practices & programs, and provides design input as appropriate.
- Ensures the successful implementation of corporate programs such as Accelerating Performance, Career Action Planning, Org & Talent Planning, and Global Engagement Surveys/action plans.
- Identifies organizational development needs and provides training options.
- Ensures store employees complete required compliance trainings.
- Partners with store leadership to assess and create a plan to drive employee engagement & an inclusive culture.
- Partners with store leaders to conduct round tables and other forums that strengthen communication, create touchpoints for employees to share what's on their minds, and enhance the team culture.
- Promotes store recognition programs and activities such as AG Star Awards Program, Matty Awards, etc.
- Leads store-based committees such as employee committee, recognition committee as applicable.
- Organizes and/or leads community facing events/volunteer opportunities.
- Partners with store level management and HR leadership to ensure all activities and celebrations are within budget.
- Responsible for data accuracy & system updates, including Workday data integrity, running reports, and ensuring proper documentation, payment and maintenance of records in accordance with retention guidelines and company standards.
- 4+ years of HR Generalist Experience including investigations, coaching & effective sourcing, recruiting and screening practices.
- Extensive knowledge of State and Federal employment laws pertaining to hiring, employee relations, etc.
- Knowledge of Human Resources principles and practices.
- Strong leadership, coaching and problem resolution skills.
- Highly proficient in communicating in a calm, clear, empathetic, but direct manner. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to act as a facilitator in a group setting.
- Organizational skills, ability to coordinate multiple tasks, delegate appropriately and meet deadlines/goals.
- Must have the ability to build strong rapport and trust with individuals at all levels of the organization in order to support conflict resolution, elevate employee performance, and change management.
- Ability to take ambiguous and/or incomplete information/concepts/situations/dynamics and transform it into clear and easily understandable information. Must be able to assess problems and identify appropriate solutions and/or know when to partner for support.
- Work effectively and efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced, sometimes high stress environment with a diversity of individuals including front-line staff, management, internal partners and candidates.
- Experienced with Microsoft Suite and HR Systems
- Ability to work, a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends to support business needs.
**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
