• Follow directives from your supervisor, interpreting written processes, and working with technical drawings to ensure precision.
• Confirm shipment readiness through detailed examinations, using predetermined inspection methodologies.
• Assess materials, from their properties to weld integrity, using surface evaluation methods and necessary tests as per industry standards.
• Verify accuracy of vendor documentation accompanying product shipments, ensuring all paperwork aligns with quality standards.
• Create detailed inspection reports and manage quality documentation responsibly. Conduct audits on existing records to maintain integrity.
• Ensure all parts are inspected thoroughly before packing and shipping to meet strict guidelines.
• Identify and document any inconsistencies discovered during inspections following standardized procedures.
• Uphold a tidy and organized work environment.

• U.S. citizenship is a must due to Department of Defense requirements.
• Eligibility to acquire and maintain necessary security clearances.
• Educational background should include at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Apprenticeship in machine shop or inspection preferred, or comparable experience.
• Keen ability to read and understand blueprints related to machined parts is essential.
• Preferably over two years in machining or related inspection work, or a similar track record.
