Electrical Project Manager/Estimator Responsibilities:
  • Determine the scope of work by reviewing bid documents and attending pre-bid meetings
  • Perform accurate takeoffs and quantify estimates.
  • Capable of reading engineering drawings, developing practical plans and providing solutions
  • Obtain quotes as needed from subcontractors and vendors.
  • Determine which vendors and subcontractors to use on the projects.
  • Develop a project schedule for each project.
  • Safety and quality conscious.
  • Maintaining good working relationships with General Contractors and multi-tasking skills are critical.
Electrical Project Manager/Estimator Qualifications:
  • 3-5+ years of experience with a proven track record of managing/bidding a wide variety of electrical construction projects -Minimum project values $1M
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Prior electrical field experience, Journeyman or Foreman is a plus
  • Must have good experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook,
  • 1 year or more of experience using Accubid, Bluebeam, Conest, or McCormick estimating software or Excel
  • Must be coachable and willing to learn the client's business process and methods
  • Team player with a positive attitude and is self-motivated.
  • Knowledge of construction practices and methods.
