The Quality Manager will support our high growth potential site in Camarillo, CA by managing a team to meet the testing and inspection needs for multiple product lines. They'll provide support in total quality leadership to customers, suppliers, partners, and the support service functions of the organization. The Camarillo site has QMS responsibilities for centralized design and customer service activities within the QMS. A. Hands-on-leader, to drive the team and sites growth model. B. Oversee, hire, and mentor all areas of quality personnel including return material (warranty), receiving inspection, final inspection, source inspection, supplier quality, manufacturing quality, customer quality, and quality compliance) C. Monitor plant quality progress and performance and makes corrections as needed. D. You will act as a primary organizational contact for customer concerns and ensures appropriate corrective actions are deployed as necessary. E. Lead the Internal ISO 9000 / AS9100 audit program for the organization and manage the corrective action system in conjunction with the management review process. F. Coordinate support of production manufacturing with problem solving process improvements and resolution to manufacturability issues. G. Support coordination of customer return analysis and ensures timely response to customers. H. Work with Design Engineering and Supply Chain to ensure that quality criteria are clearly identified on all newly established parts and communicated to suppliers. I. Develop and lead routine risk assessment activity (PFMEA) on all new products and with changes that affect existing product. J. Work in partnership with engineering to support all NPD Launch related projects and milestones related to testing processes and improve the overall process to achieve zero defects and launch readiness. K. Execute or facilitate all aspects of APQP and Part Approval and sign-off for both suppliers and customers, manage revisions of process control documents such as PFMEAs, Control Plans and other quality tools to ensure compliance. M. Provide Quality interface and expertise between the operation and its customers to proactively identify or anticipate their needs and expectations and ensure they are understood and satisfied. N. Support the Aerospace sector in implementation the flight Safety Management System. O. Provide support to the Supplier Quality organization relative to the Supplier Quality Assurance activities of the operation as well as provide Quality interface, expertise and support to the organization's suppliers and partners. P. Drive Change in highly competitive industry. Q. Ability to manage a remote sites Quality System in Los Angeles. Bachelor's degree from accredited institution 5+ years of hands on experience working within an aerospace quality management system No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within 50 miles of Camarillo, CA will be considered for this position. Active duty military are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
