- Education: Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program. BSN preferred.
- License: Current State of Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience:
- RN II ($41.76 - $49.13/hour): Advancement from an RN I or at least one (1) year, continuous experience in a comparable patient care setting. RNs must remain at this level for a minimum of one year before applying for advancement. Must float to one other unit within one (1) year of appointment.
- RN III ($43.84 - $51.58/hour): Three (3) years of current clinical experience (current indicates experience within the last five years from time of application) OR one (1) year of experience as a Bartlett RN II. Internal advancement note: Advancement beyond RN III based on BRH Clinical Nurse Advancement Program; approval of Professional Practice Review Board. Proficient clinical competency in primary specialty and a minimum of experience in one (1) float area.
- Certification(s):
- Basic Life Support (BLS): All nursing departments within 30 days of hire
- ACLS: CCU, ED, OR, PACU, Same Day, OB, Med/Surg
- PALS: CCU, ED, OR, PACU, Same Day, Med/Surg (preferred)
- TNCC or ATCN: ED within one year of hire
- ENPC: ED within one year of hire
- PEARS: Med/Surg
- NRP: OB within 90 days of hire
- STABLE: OB, ED within one year of hire
- TEAM/BERT: MHU, RRC, WMU, ED, CCU, OB, Med/Surg, within 90 days of hire
