- Provide functional expertise on IT infrastructure, hardware, and software.
- Perform investigation and testing on infrastructure to determine cause of issues and identify potential improvements.
- Make recommendations to Management of proposed changes to infrastructure, processes, or procedures to improve stability, performance, and/or growth planning.
- Contribute to the planning process to establish tasks and forecasts for work to be performed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve chronic issues.
- Improve and adhere to standard operating procedures and the collection of measures put in place to ensure consistency and improvement in infrastructure stability, performance, and growth planning.
- Educate peers in all planned infrastructure changes.
- Ask the right questions, in the right way, at the right time to identify issues and reduce the introduction of risk.
- Document issues thoroughly and generate Findings Report to present to Management.
- Serve as technical escalation point to I.T. team.
- Maintain an attitude of commitment through outward display of willingness.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years delivering IT infrastructure and datacenter support and projects for SaaS systems and applications
- MCSE, Security+, and related certifications a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and independent thinking
- Strong teamwork and partnering skills for cross-group collaboration
- Ability to contribute to a motivating environment that instills accountability
- Strong verbal and written communications skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
- Operating Systems; Proficiency in managing various operating systems like Windows, Linux
- Network Configuration and Security; Knowledge of network protocols, firewall management, and intrusion detection systems
- Cloud Services Management; Working familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud
- Automation and Scripting; Skilled in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate repetitive tasks and streamline processes
- Virtualization and Containerization; Experience with tools like VMware, Hyper-V, Docker, and Kubernetes for creating and managing virtual environments
- Cybersecurity and Compliance; Skills in managing and responding to security incidents swiftly to mitigate risks
- Incident Management; Hands-on experience in problem tracking, documenting resolution, Jira JSM, Confluence
- Hardware Management; Managing physical devices (e.g. servers, printers) and understanding hardware setup
- Database Management; Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases for managing and maintaining data integrity
