Job PostingMN Department of Labor and Industry Plumbing Plan Reviewer/Engineering SpecialistThis position will administer provisions of the State Plumbing Code by providing plan review and technical assistance on documents submitted for new construction, additions to, and alterations of plumbing systems for all building types except single family homes, two family homes, townhomes, and multi-family homes with 4 or fewer dwellings. The code review requires determining if the proposed work complies with the Minnesota State Plumbing Code, referenced standards, administrative provisions of the Minnesota Building Code Chapter 1300, and the principles and practices of common engineering to protect the health and safety of the people of Minnesota.Minimum Qualifications
Three years of para-engineering experience where work includes review and evaluation of proposed plumbing plans to ensure compliance with the Minnesota State Plumbing Code under the direct supervision of a Minnesota Licensed Engineer or Minnesota Licensed Master Plumber.
