We can't operate without you.The operating room (OR) runs as a team; every person on the team has an important role that directly impacts the patient. Your success in this role comes from your adaptability and enthusiasm to work with a team taking patients from a diseased process to a healing process.
  • Prepare the operating room for assigned surgical procedures with proper instrumentation and sterilization
  • Navigate the nuances of surgical procedures and surgeons you'll be supporting
  • Adapt to the needs of emergency situations
  • Provide clean-up and turnover of operating room to prepare for next patient

QualificationsRequired Education:
  • Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program
Required Licensure and Certifications:
  • NBSTSA or NCCT
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Manual dexterity and strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with varied high tech surgical equipment.
PREFERRED Qualifications:
  • One year perioperative services experience preferred
