- Conduct needs analysis to determine a match between the customer's requirement and Grainger's products or services.
- Engage Grainger resources to develop plan and timeline to implement solution.
- Drive implementation plan with customer.
- Check with customer to ensure needs are met.
- Leverage post-implementation success to gain more information from the customer about future needs.
- Maintain expertise in Safety Regulations and industry topics.
- Educate customers on changing market trends and technology and impact to their business.
- Investigate nonstandard solutions that will profitably satisfy a customer's needs.
- Expand customer understanding and use of Grainger's standard product and service capabilities.
- 5+ years of relevant EHS industry experience involving safety hazard analysis and mitigation, safety consulting or responsibility for overseeing safety programs.
- Bachelor's degree including the fields of Safety, Environmental Science, Public Health, or equivalent experience.
- CSP ideal
- Experience conducting workplace assessments to prevent injuries / accidents and improve compliance.
- Knowledgeable of Safety, Health and Environmental strategies and practices to reduce or eliminate hazards and risks.
- Current working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry standards.
- Basic project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A desire to help others.
- Ability to travel locally in the Milwaukee and surrounding areas
