About Lemmen Holton Cancer CenterWe treat cancer using the latest technologies and treatments including gene sequencing of tumors, targeted therapy and advanced oncology surgery techniques. We use a team approach to care, bringing together different areas of expertise that specialize in any type of cancer.Scope of WorkOperates positron emissions tomography / computerized tomography (PET/CT) imaging equipment and injector and prepares radiopharmaceuticals for PET imaging studies to produce images for the interpretation by, and at the request of a licensed practitioner. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Completes work in independent, professional manner with minimal supervision.Qualifications
  • Required Associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience in related field
  • 2 years of relevant experience nuclear medicine Required
  • CRT-Nuc Med Technologist (N) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required Or
  • CRT-Nuclear Medicine Technologist - NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Upon Hire required And
  • CRT-Positron Emission Tomography (PET) - NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board 2 Yrs required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 Days of hire required
