Join us and help shape the future of construction, one delivery at a time.We’re looking for self-sufficient, motivated Dispatch and Sales Co-Ordinator for our Portland location at 3720 NW Yeon Avenue who want to help us expand our fast-growing business.Responsibilities
  • Acknowledge and assist all customers as required
  • Entry of orders received in person, via phone, fax, and email
  • Acknowledge receipt of customer orders
  • Check stock levels via ERP system
  • Utilize Samsara (dispatching software) to manage inbound/outbound freight
  • If necessary, transfer stock from other locations
  • Work with sales to Schedule/Coordinate truck shipments
  • Address any issues that come up during transit
  • Assist in resolving customer issues related to freight transportation
  • Audit/correct carrier freight invoices
  • Address and escalate issues when necessary
  • Verify customer delivery requirements are being met
  • Assist drivers/carriers throughout dispatch as needed
Requirements
  • Attention to detail, must have the ability to follow up on multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Minimum 2 years of applicable work experience in fleet coordination
  • Accountable, proactive and a problem-solver
  • Organized, detail-oriented – excellent follow-up skills are essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, ERP system
  • Must be able to work flexible hours from Monday to Friday, overtime may be required and must be available to work occasionally on weekends
  • 3 years experience working in a construction or building materials environment would be an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
